I've been feeling a little bit under the weather, so, Momma Deb made me some homemade chicken soup (granny's recipe). While she was peeling the carrots, I got inspired to try using the juice of the carrots to create a string (similar to how we used wine and tea in my Watercolour class). First, we boiled down the peels of the carrots, then we let it cool in a dish. Next, using various circular bowls, cups, etc found in the cupboards we started creating strings. Once the strings were dry, we cut the larger sheets into tiles and started tangling. The final result was beautiful, and of course, the chicken soup was delicious!
