While visiting a friend in Penticton earlier this week, I spotted a package of "decorating eggs" she had purchased from Walmart for her children to decorate for Easter. Right away, I thought..."I could tangle those eggs", and "I wonder if I could use water colour crayons or Twinkling H2Os on them?" That night, I stopped by Walmart and picked up two packages of "decorating eggs".
Over the next few days, I began playing with the "eggs". I loved using watercolour crayons and twinkling H2Os to "dye" the eggs. The sparkle the twinkling H2Os gave the egg were amazing! At first I was nervous to use my micron pen to tangle the eggs, so I used a ultra fine sharpie. It seemed to work, however there were times when the ink would bleed. So I tried my apprentice pen. I really liked the control I had with the apprentice pen.
I found tangling on the eggs to be very awkward. To alleviate my frustration, I tangled on tiles in between each egg. I think for my first eggtangling experience they turned out pretty well.
Happy Easter Everyone!
